4th of July Parade!
Calling all players and volunteers - come march with us!Updated Tuesday July 3, 2018 by Ben Craigo.
Come march with Cheltenham Sports in the July 4th Parade!
One of the biggest traditions in the area is East Cheltenham’s Fourth of July Parade and Cheltenham Sports would like its players to be part of this tradition. We are looking for our soccer, basketball, and hockey players to march in the parade with us. The more the better!
Players should wear their Cheltenham Sports gear. They'll wave to people along the parade route, throw out candy, try not to eat more candy than they throw, hand out flyers and have a great time. At the end of the parade all participants in the parade get a drink and a pretzel.
to show the community how important our sports programs are to the quality of life in Cheltenham Township. Every player (and his or her parents) are welcome to march with us. The more the better. We will be meeting in front of Cheltenham Elementary at 11:00 on the 4th and should be finished by about 12:30.

After the parade ends, at 2pm at Veterans Field (changed for this year because of the sewer work) there will be field games for the kids that are a ton of fun. Plus a water balloon toss that's open for everyone and a pie eating contest. There are prizes and refreshments and it's all FREE.
Both the parade and the field games are brought to you by the East Cheltenham Community Council - another amazing volunteer organization in our community.
See you there!
