Keeping our children safe...
As a community organization we have to comply with PA laws on background checks for all volunteers working with children. Every coach and assistant has to run through a police and child abuse check every 5 years. If you would like to volunteer and work with the kids, and you don't have your clearances yet, no problem. When you register as a volunteer, a third-party service, Protect Youth Sports, will automatically run your background check.
We use Protect Youth Sports to help us manage all the background clearances for our volunteers. So whether you've already got your clearances, or still need to get them, follow the steps at registration to make sure you are in compliance with club policy. Thanks in advance for your help!
Our Travel team coaches may have additional requirements put forth by the governing association. The travel sport coordinator will assist you with those processes.
